KPT emerging as bunkering hub

KARACHI: Marine ISTA of Vitol completed the largest-ever bunkering operation at Karachi Port, supplying 4,900 metric tonnes of fuel to MSC Apollo.

According to the KPT, the vessel made a bunker-only call at KPT area. This milestone highlights KPT and its stakeholders’ enhanced capability to handle large vessels for bunkering and emerging as bunkering hub. This expanding market will afford significant boost to Pakistan’s refinery and maritime sectors.
