PESHAWAR: Opposition parliamentary parties in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly have agreed on fielding a joint candidate for Senate by-poll in the provincial assembly.
In this connection, a consultative meeting was held here at Mufti Mahmood Markaz with provincial ameer JUI-F Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Senator Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman in the chair
Those who attended were included Senator Maulana Abdul Haq Darwaish (JUI-F), Senator Haji Dilawar Khan, Abdul Jalil Jan, Maulana Abdul Haseeb Haqqani (JUI-F), Israr Ahmad, Syed Ayub Shah, Malik Saeed (PPP), Hussain Shah Nisar Baz MPA (ANP), Murtaza Abbasi, Malik Zarawar (PML-N), Habib Ali Shah, Arif Mohmand, Arbab Wasim MPA, Salahuddin and Fazal Malik (PTI-P)
The participants of the meeting held consultation on bring joint candidate by the opposition in the Senate by-poll. All participants said that all opposition parties in the provincial assembly are united on single platform. Therefore, a joint strategy should be adopted.
