KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 119,359 tonnes of Cargo Comprising 71,986 tonnes of Import Cargo and 47,373 tonnes of Export Cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The Total Import Cargo of 71,986 tonnes Comprised of 44,867 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 5,162 tonnes of Canola & 21,957 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The Total Export Cargo of 47,373 tonnes Comprised of 29,113 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 14 tonnes of B. Bulk, 13,596 tonnes of Clinkers & 4,650 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
Approximately, 06 ships namely, Hong Yong Chang Shang, Cspc Leo, Oocl Jakarta, Caribbean 1, Seasp Brightness & Dp World Jeddah berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
Around, 07 ships namely, Hyundai, Hong Yong Chang Sheng, M.T Sargodha, X-Press Cassiopeia, Lepton & Greehouse sailed from the Karachi Port Trust.
PORT QASIM
Shipping activity was report at the port where two ships, Grampus Dignity and Elina-II scheduled to load/offload Rice and Coal, berthed at Multi-Purpose Terminal and Pakistan International Bulk Terminal respectively during last 24 hours, Meanwhile another bulk cargo ship ‘New Galaxy’ with Coal also arrived at outer anchorage on Monday morning.
A total of six ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them a bulk cargo carrier ‘Crystal-O’ left the port on today morning, while another ship ‘Ameena Jahan’ expected to sail on Monday afternoon. Cargo volume of 66,226 tones comprising 63,448 tones imports cargo and 2,778 export cargo was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
There are 08 ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them 0 ships are expected to take berth’s on Monday 6th April, 2026.
