Indonesia’s Jan-Feb coal export volume down 7.9% on year

JAKARTA: Indonesia exported 56.39 million metric tons of coal in the first two months of 2026, down 7.9% from the same period a year earlier, statistics bureau data showed on Wednesday.

The shipments were valued at $3.48 billion.

The bureau’s figures are based on reports from the customs office.

India is ready for unprecedented coal power demand in summer

The data may differ from those provided by the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, which are based on reports from mining companies.
