LAHORE: To maintain law and order during the Eid days, the Punjab Police conducted vigorous crackdown across the province against proclaimed offenders, habitual criminals, and court absconders wanted in heinous crimes.

A senior officer of the Punjab police said that so far this year, a total of 36,843 Proclaimed Offenders (POs) have been arrested across the province, including Lahore.

Among them, 10,916 were Category-A and 25,927 were Category-B proclaimed offenders.
