ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has integrated 12,861 big retailers, textile/leather retailers and restaurants with the Point of Sales (POS) system up to March 10, 2026 to document transactions of Tier-I retailers, especially hotels/restaurants.
Total number of integrated branches/outlets of Tier-I retailers, textile/leather retailers and restaurants stood at 35,761 up to March 10, 2026.
The FBR has removed data/charts from its official website showing data of connected and disconnected, closed or active/inactive branches of retailers.
In February 2026, the total number of registered big retailers stood at 11,141.

According to the list of retailers compiled by the FBR till March 10, 2026, a total of 11,301 Tier-I retailers were registered with the POS system. Total number of 23,674 branches of retailers have been integrated with the system.
As many as 1,000 restaurants were registered with the POS system whereas 1,490 branches have been integrated with the FBR’s system.
A total of 560 leather and textile retailers were registered with the FBR whereas 10,597 branches have been integrated with the system.
