LAHORE: The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has chalked out a comprehensive strategy to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply to consumers during the upcoming Eid holidays.
A meeting, chaired by Chief Executive Engr Ramzan Butt, was held at the LESCO headquarters on Tuesday with the participation of all functional heads. The meeting focused on maintaining continuous power supply during Eid ul-Fitr and ensuring prompt resolution of consumer complaints.
According to a LESCO spokesperson, it was decided that the central control room will remain operational around the clock throughout the Eid holidays. The facility will monitor electricity distribution continuously and address complaints without any delay.
The company also appointed Operations Director Imran Mahmood as in charge of the control room who will oversee all related activities. The LESCO chief executive directed officials to provide maximum relief to consumers during the festive period and ensure immediate redressal of complaints.
He further instructed that field staff remain on high alert and be fully prepared to handle any emergency situation.
Special duty rosters have also been issued for officers covering all three days of Eid who will perform their responsibilities at the control room to ensure smooth operations throughout the holidays.
