ISLAMABAD: Directorate General of Customs Valuation Karachi has issued new custom values on the import of chemicals i.e. Mono-Ethylene Glycol (MEG) and Di-Ethylene Glycol (DEG) from all origins. In this regard, the directorate has issued a new valuation ruling.
According to the ruling, the matter for determination of customs values on the import of chemicals was earlier done in 2020.
The existing valuation ruling was five years old keeping in view international prevailing condition, it said.

Therefore, redetermination has been done by the said directorate. In this regard, 90 days data was retrieved and international publications (ICIS) were securitized.
The new ruling has been issued by the directorate.
