HYDERABAD: Senior Minister of Sindh and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon visited major commercial centers in Hyderabad to review the prices of food items.
On this occasion, he personally checked the prices of vegetables, fruits, meat, flour, sugar and other basic necessities and directed the district administration to ensure strict implementation of the official price lists during the holy month of Ramadan.
During the visit, some shopkeepers were warned for not displaying price lists and charging more than the official prices.
Memon also spoke with citizens present at the markets and listened to their complaints regarding prices. He made it clear that profiteering and hoarding will not be tolerated under any circumstances during the month of Ramadan.
