ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has strongly condemned the recent military strike by Israel against Iran, calling it unacceptable and a serious threat to regional stability.
PPP Secretary General Muhammad Humayun Khan on Saturday strongly condemned the attack of Israel against the sovereign state of Iran. He said any act of aggression against the territory of a sovereign nation poses a serious threat to regional peace and stability. “Such actions undermine international law and further inflame tensions in an already volatile region,” he said.
Muhammad Humayun Khan emphasized that the Middle East is already facing heightened instability, and escalatory measures of this nature risk worsening the situation, potentially leading to broader conflict with far-reaching consequences.
He reiterated that the PPP strongly condemns Israel’s aggressive actions at the international level and firmly stands in support of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The PPP Secretary General called upon the international community and the United Nations to take immediate notice of the escalating tensions and to adopt concrete measures aimed at restoring peace and preventing further deterioration of the security situation in the region.
He further stated that Pakistan’s foreign policy has consistently been rooted in support for the right of self-determination of oppressed nations and the protection of territorial integrity and regional stability.
