PESHAWAR: In a gruesome incident, a female doctor was shot dead by unidentified armed men while returning home after completing her duty in District Kohat of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, police said on Monday.
According to police, the incident occurred in the early hours of the day when unidentified assailants opened fire on her when she was returning home after completing her duty at the District Headquarters Hospital.
She was travelling in a rickshaw at the time of the attack.
Police and rescue teams reached the scene immediately and shifted the body to the District Headquarters Hospital for legal formalities.
