KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX, the total traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS, Indices, and Agricultural commodities stood at PKR 21.761 billion with 40,512 lots traded.
The highest activity was recorded in COTS (PKR 12.721 billion) followed by Gold (PKR 3.544 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.980 billion), NSDQ100 (PKR 1.464 billion), Japan Equity 225 (PKR 497.787 million), Platinum (PKR 410.303 million), Brent (PKR 310.229 million), DJ (PKR 264.511 million), SP500 (PKR 237.099 million), Natural Gas (PKR 139.976 million), Copper (PKR 72.409 million), Aluminum (PKR 67.439 million) and Palladium (PKR 48.790 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 4 lots were traded, amounting to PKR 3.452 million, primarily in Cotton, while Corn, Wheat, and Soybean remained inactive.
