ISLAMABAD: The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) designated the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Oncology, Lahore (INMOL) as the nuclear watchdog’s collaboration centre, said a statement issued by the Foreign Office on Tuesday.

According to the Foreign Office, on the sidelines of a special event at the United Nations Office in Vienna Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar signed the “Collaborating Centre Agreement between the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Oncology, Lahore (INMOL) and the International Atomic Energy Agency” with IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi.

The IAEA DG presented a plaque designating INMOL as an IAEA Collaborating Centre. The ceremony was witnessed by Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
