PESHAWAR: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the residence of martyred Captain Abbas Khan at Landi Kotal, Khyber district on Sunday.
During the visit, the Inspector General of Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (North) accompanied the interior minister.
Naqvi expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the father and family members of Shaheed Captain Abbas Khan, paying rich tribute to his supreme sacrifice. He also offered Fateha for the eternal peace of the martyred officer.
Speaking on the occasion, Naqvi said, “The courage of a resolute father like you further strengthens the nation’s spirit. The entire nation salutes your unwavering resolve.”
Responding, the father of Shaheed Captain Abbas said, “We are proud of our brave son’s martyrdom. Every son of this land is ready to sacrifice for the country.”
During the visit, the minister also met with tribal elders and local notables.
