ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday met President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who arrived in Pakistan on a two-day state visit.
The Deputy Prime Minister conveyed the warm greetings of the President, Prime Minister and the people of Pakistan to President Mirziyoyev.
Ishaq Dar underscored the profound importance that Pakistan accords to its cordial relations with Uzbekistan and expressed confidence that the Presidential visit would contribute towards further strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further deepen and diversify the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
