KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Labour, Human Resources and Social Protection, Saeed Ghani, on Friday, said that a high-level investigation into the Gul Plaza tragedy is under way and that the Sindh government will ensure a comprehensive probe to bring the responsible to justice.
He expressed these views while speaking to the media on Friday after attending the funeral prayers for Qaiser Ali’s wife and Rafah Ali’s wife, who lost their lives in the Gul Plaza fire incident.
A large number of people attended the funeral prayers, including Sindh Assembly member Ali Ahmed Jan, Town Chairman, Moriro Mirbahar, Ali Akbar, UC Chairman Rana Muhammad Ilyas, leaders of various political parties, social figures and local residents.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, Saeed Ghani said that the high-level investigation into the Gul Plaza tragedy continues and as a result of the probe so far, some responsible individuals had already been identified and removed from their positions.
The Sindh government stood shoulder to shoulder with every affected person in this tragedy, extended heartfelt condolences to the families of all those who lost their lives, besides praying God for placement of the departed souls in eternal peace.
