Secure Logistics shareholders approve FinTech software acquisition with 99.98% majority

  • Says this achievement will enable the company to proceed with the execution of Definitive Agreements

Secure Logistics – Trax Group Limited (SLG-Trax), a Pakistani logistics company, announced on Friday that its shareholders had approved the proposal to acquire the intellectual property (IP) of a FinTech software, allowing the company to move forward with its plans to enter the digital lending business.

SLG-Trax shared the development in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.

It said that an Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) was held on January 29, which approved the proposal with an overwhelming majority of 99.98% votes.

“The achievement of this milestone will enable the Company to proceed with the execution of Definitive Agreements and the arrangement of Regulatory approvals to close the Transaction within Q1 2026,” the listed company shared.

Earlier in January, the Islamabad-based company, in its notice to the PSX, said that the company added the FinTech category to its subsidiary LogiServe (Private) Limited’s existing Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA) license following the issuance of a Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) license to LogiServe.

“The acquisition of the FinTech software IP, together with the arrangement of digital lending facilities of up to Rs500 million, is expected to be completed by the end of February 2026.”
