LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Lahore President Faisal Mir has said that the party’s Kashmir rally on February 1 will be record-breaking.
Presiding over a meeting of PPP District Three in Lahore, Faisal Mir claimed that the February 1 “Save Kashmir Rally” would be the largest rally in Lahore’s history. He said that convoys from across the city would converge at Nasir Bagh to participate in the rally.
“Kashmir is Pakistan’s jugular vein, and we will not abandon the Kashmiri people,” he said, adding that the PPP’s struggle would continue until the Kashmiris are granted their right to self-determination. He said that, in addition to party workers, a large number of labourers, farmers, students, traders, lawyers and transporters would take part in the rally.
