Pakistan & Belgium hold 4th session of bilateral political consultations

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Belgium held the 4th session of the Bilateral Political Consultations in Islamabad on Thursday. Pakistan side was led by Additional Secretary Europe Ambassador Ayesha Ali and Belgian delegation was led by Director General Birgit Stevens.

The Foreign Office said in a statement that the two sides appreciated the positive momentum in bilateral relations and reaffirmed commitment to further expand bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, education, health sciences and people to people exchanges. Additional Secretary Europe thanked the Belgian side for its continued support for Pakistan’s GSP Plus status. A detailed exchange of views on regional and global issues of mutual concern was also held.
