ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has notified on Friday reduction in prices of RLNG upto 5.26 percent for consumers of gas companies for January.

According to OGRA, the RLNG transmission price for Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) has been fixed at USD8.9770 per MMBtu, while the distribution price stands at USD10.2099 per MMBtu. This reflects a decrease of USD0.4971 (5.25) in transmission and USD0.5668 (5.26pc) in distribution prices compared to December 2025.

For, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), the regulator has set the RLNG transmission price at US$10.4136 per MMBtu and the distribution price at US$11.2743 per MMBtu. These prices show a decline of USD0.5050 (4.62pc) in transmission and USD0.5537 (4.68pc) in distribution from the previous month.

OGRA stated that the reduction in RLNG prices in line with the policy guidelines of the federal government and is mainly due to a decrease in the Delivered Ex-Ship (DES) price.
