Four India-backed terrorists killed in intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kalat: ISPR

Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Kalat district of Balochistan, killing four terrorists during an exchange of fire, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.
According to the military’s media wing, the operation was conducted on January 12 on reports of the presence of terrorists linked to what it described as an Indian proxy network, Fitna al Hindustan.
Troops engaged the suspected hideout, leading to an intense firefight in which four terrorists were killed.

ISPR said weapons and ammunition were recovered from the terrorists, who were allegedly involved in multiple attacks in the area.
The statement added that sanitisation operations are underway to clear the area of any remaining terrorists.
Reaffirming the state’s resolve against terrorism, ISPR said the counter-terrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” vision, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue “at full pace” to eliminate what it termed foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
