SSGC appoints Mirza Nasiruddin Mashhood as director
- Ahmad was earlier appointed as an ex-officio director of the Pakistan Petroleum Limited
Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) Limited announced on Tuesday the appointment of Mirza Nasiruddin Mashhood Ahmad, Special Secretary, Petroleum Division, as an Ex-Officio Director on the Board.
The information was shared in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) today.
The notice said that he was co opted by the board on the nomination of the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division).
Earlier, Ahmad was appointed as an ex-officio director of the Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL).

SSGC’s main activity is the transmission and distribution of natural gas in Sindh and Balochistan. The company is also engaged in certain activities related to the gas business, including the manufacturing and sale of gas meters and construction contracts for laying of pipelines.
Last year in December, SSGC shareholders elected a new Board of Directors for a three-year term, effective December 24, 2025.
