KARACHI: An important meeting regarding ongoing and proposed development projects in Karachi was held under the joint chairmanship of Sindh Provincial Minister for Local Government Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Hyder Shah.
The meeting reviewed in detail measures to improve basic civic facilities and accelerate the pace of development works in the city.
The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Karachi, Commissioner Karachi, senior officers of the Local Government Department, representatives of the Frontier Works Organization (FWO), and officials from other relevant departments.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various ongoing development projects in Karachi, including construction and rehabilitation of internal roads, link roads, major arteries, development of industrial areas, and construction of underpasses.
