ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq departed Beijing, China, after a successful visit from January 3-5, 2026.
According to a Foreign Ministry’s statement, during the visit, DPM/FM co-chaired with Foreign Minister Wang Yi the 7th Pakistan-China Strategic Dialogue. He also held meetings with Executive Vice Premier of China, Ding Xuexiang; Minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC), Liu Haixing; Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA), Chen Xiaodong; and Vice President of China Minmetals Corporation (MCC), Xu Jiqing.
The visit also saw the official launch of commemorative activities of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.
