PESHAWAR: Members of the business community urged the provincial government to take up the illegal and constitutional ban on movement of wheat from Punjab to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the centre to prevent creating the flour crisis in the province.

The business community stressed the business community must be consulted before formulation of policies, particularly taking actions for enforcement rules and orders to avoid creating an atmosphere of confrontation and harassment.

Businessmen called for abolishment of double taxes at provincial level and pragmatic steps to facilitate traders’ community and framing of business-friendly policies.
