LAHORE: Like other parts of the country, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) will celebrate the 98th birth anniversary of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto with full enthusiasm across Lahore by organising special events.
To mark the occasion, the party has organised three separate ceremonies in the provincial capital on Monday, January 5. The first event will be hosted by PPP leader Faisal Mir at 11:30 a.m. at the PPP Johar Town Office, where Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Ali Qasim Gilani will attend as the chief guest.
The second ceremony will be organised by PPP Lahore at 12:00 p.m. at the Punjab Office in Model Town, with MNA Samina Khalid Ghurki as the chief guest.
The third event will be arranged by the Peoples Lawyers Forum Punjab and Lahore at 1:00 p.m. at Karachi Shuhada Hall, Lahore High Court. PPP Central Secretary for Information, Nadeem Afzal Chan, will grace the occasion as the chief guest.
Party leaders and workers will pay tribute to Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, highlighting his visionary leadership, political struggle, and invaluable services to the country and its people. The events will conclude with the ceremonial cutting of birthday cakes in his honour.
