Gadani Customs seizes hashish worth Rs273m

ISLAMABAD: Acting upon the information provided by the Chief Collector of Customs Enforcement, Islamabad, the staff of Customs Check Post, Khurkhera stopped a Hino truck bearing registration number SEA-312 (Zhob-Quetta).

Upon conducting a thorough search, 109.5 kgs of Hashish was recovered from concealed cavities of the vehicle.

The recovered narcotics carry an estimated international value of Rs.273 million, while the vehicle used for transportation is valued at Rs.15 million. Both narcotics and vehicle have been seized and further investigation is in process.

FBR reaffirms its strong commitment to combating narcotics smuggling and protecting society from this menace.
