The other two leaders were Omar Sarfraz Cheema and Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed.

Judge Arshad Javed of Lahore’s ATC announced the verdict in the cases related to the burning of police vehicles in Gulberg area and containers at Kalma Chowk.

The court announced verdicts against 37 accused in the Kalma Chowk container-burning case and 33 accused in the case involving the burning of police vehicles in Gulberg.

Earlier during the day, former prime minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were sentenced to 17 years in jail in the Toshakhana II case.

Judge Shahrukh Arjumand announced the verdict.

Both of them were also fined Rs16.4 million.

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) accused Imran and his wife Bushra of receiving the Bulgari jewellery set from Saudi Arabia and failing to submit the set in Toshakhana.
