LAHORE: Pakistan Academy of Sciences awarded PAS Gold Medal-2025 to UVAS Vice- Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I)
LAHORE (14-12-25): Pakistan Academy of Sciences awarded the PAS Gold Medal-2025 to Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr Muhammad Younus (DLA.I, T.I) of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore in recognition of his outstanding research work in Agriculture Sciences including Veterinary Sciences and Forestry subjects.
This award presented by the Distinguished National Prof Dr Kauser Abdullah Malik in a ceremony held at the Auditorium of Pakistan Academy of Sciences Islamabad while President of (PAS) Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood Khan, Secretary General (PAS) Distinguished National Prof Dr Muhammad Aslam Baig and a number of dignitaries were also present in the ceremony.
This national award honors only one scientist annually within the specified category chosen from researchers across all universities in Pakistan and in this year UVAS Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Younus clinched this award among all universities across Pakistan.
All the UVAS faculty members, staff, stakeholders from livestock, poultry, dairy, meat and pharmaceutical industries congratulated Prof Dr Muhammad Younus on his remarkable achievement and lauded his contribution in agricultural sciences, veterinary sciences and forestry.
