ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has lauded the Balochistan Police and security forces for their successful counter-terrorism operation in Kharan district, which led to the arrest of three of the country’s most wanted terrorists.
In a statement on Sunday, the Prime Minister praised the professionalism and dedication of the security personnel involved, noting that such operations demonstrate the nation’s unwavering commitment to combating terrorism.
Highlighting the broader security efforts in Balochistan, he stated that over 700 terrorists have been neutralized in the province this year alone, calling it a major milestone in Pakistan’s ongoing fight against militancy.
Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed the government’s firm resolve to eliminate all forms of terrorism from the country and ensure lasting peace and stability for its citizens.
