Message of CM on International Civil Aviation Day

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif said in her message on International Civil Aviation Day that the role of aviation industry cannot be underestimated for the promotion of economy, tourism and public relations.

She added that Punjab government is determined to provide modern air travel facilities to people, as a proposal to establish Punjab Airline is being considered. She highlighted that aviation has really turned the world into a global village by reducing distances.

She said, "I pay tribute to the Prime Minister for restoring lost position of aviation and PIA, as PIA has been allowed to operate flights in Europe due to his hectic and thoughtful efforts.
