Martyrdom anniversary of Benazir Bhutto: PPP Karachi Division holds meeting for 27th Dec Jalsa

KARACHI: A meeting of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Karachi Division, was held on Saturday to finalise the preparations for the upcoming Jalsa scheduled on 27th Dec to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

The meeting held at the Peoples Secretariat was convened and chaired by Dr Sharmila Farooqui, PPP Information Secretary Karachi Division. The meeting was attended by President Karachi Division Saeed Ghani, General Secretary Rauf Nagori, District Presidents, and District General Secretaries from across Karachi. Detailed briefings were presented on mobilisation efforts, logistical arrangements, and district-wise coordination plans.

Saeed Ghani emphasised the historic importance of 27th December and reaffirmed that Karachi Division will play a central role in ensuring a powerful and well organised gathering to pay tribute to the extraordinary legacy of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. He underscored the need for unity, discipline, and seamless coordination.

District Presidents and District General Secretaries expressed full confidence in the preparations and reiterated that Karachi Division will participate in the 27 December Jalsa with full force to honour their great leader. They further committed that Karachi Division will also attend the commemorations at Garhi Khuda Bux with complete strength and solidarity.

The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to uphold the mission of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and to ensure that the 27 December gathering reflects the spirit, resilience, and enduring values of the Pakistan Peoples Party.
