KARACHI: The IRBA Excellence Award for Affordable Islamic Housing Finance in Pakistan 2025 was presented to Akhuwat Islamic Microfinance. Dr Kamran Shams, Chief Executive Officer received the award.

Ajman Bank of United Arab Emirates got IRBA Excellence Award for Service Quality and Customer Service 2025. Dr Fazal Rahim Head of Internal Sharia Control & ISSC Secretary received the award.

The IRBA Excellence Award for Islamic Retail Banking in Malaysia 2025 is won by Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad. Mohammad Zalman Jalil, Director, Retail Banking received the award.

The award for the Best Islamic Interest-Free Savings & Finance Institution in Turkey 2025 was won by EMIN EVIM TASARRUF FINANSMANI A S and Zekeriya Köse, Deputy General Manager for Operations and Technology received the award.

The award for the Best Emerging Islamic Digital Bank in Pakistan 2025 is won by Mashreq Bank Pakistan Limited. Shahzad Khokhar, Head of Islamic received the award. They are recognized for expanding their Al-Araf window to cover all 500+ bank branches, making Shariah-compliant banking accessible nationwide.

The award for the Best Islamic Banking Window in Bangladesh 2025 presented to Pubali Bank PLC, Bangladesh. Md Kamaruzzaman, General Manager & Head of Shariah Secretariat received the award.

The award for the Best Bank for Islamic Retail Banking Growth and Strategy 2025 is this year won by HABIBMETRO SIRAT. Their successful execution of the ‘Horizon 2025’ strategy saw their Islamic retail assets grow by an impressive 45 percent over the past fiscal year. Khurram Shahzad Khan, President & CEO received the award.

The Best Public Sector Islamic Retail Banking Window in Pakistan 2025 award won by The Bank of Punjab. Salman Ahmed Khan, Head Islamic Banking-CBG received the award. The bank has demonstrated outstanding resilience by growing their retail customer base by over 15 percent and achieving the highest Return on Equity among mid-sized peers.

The Best Mid-Sized Islamic Retail Bank 2025 award went to Faysal Bank Limited. Yousaf Hussain, President & CEO received the award.

The award for the Best Islamic Retail Bank for Social Finance Initiatives in Malaysia 2025 presented to Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad. Mohammad Zalman Jalil, Director, Retail Banking received the award. This recognition honors their commitment to financial inclusion, successfully channeling over MYR 50 million into Qard Hasan (benevolent loans) for underprivileged communities last year.
