KARACHI: Islamic Retail Banking Awards-2025 ceremony was held here to recognise the banks’ meritorious services for promoting Shariah compliant banking and creating environment for Islamic economy.
Largely attended by representatives of many home and foreign banks, the ceremony was graced by Syed Qasim Naveed Qamar, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Investment and Public Partnership as the Guest of Honour, Chairman, IBRA-2025 Dr Humayon Dar, and Saleemullah, Deputy Governor, State Bank of Pakistan.
The First IRBA Excellence Award for Islamic Microfinance in Pakistan 2025 went to SAFCO Microfinance Company (Private) Limited. Dr Muhammad Suleman G Abro, Founder & Chief Executive Officer received the award.
