FAISALABAD: Business Incubation Centre (BIC) at the =University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) arranged a two-day training workshop on “Business Intelligence and Six Sigma Insights using data Science” in collaboration with Institute of Business Management Sciences (IBMS) on the directives of UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali.
Director BIC Dr Hammad Badar said that this workshop is a step forward in promoting innovation and entrepreneurial approach among youth. He stressed upon the imperative need to acquire emerging technologies to foster growth in both research and commercial ventures. He added that data-driven and Six Sigma methodologies are vital in achieving efficiency, quality and competitiveness in modern businesses to compete the globe.
Principal Officer Academic Teaching Research and Innovation (ATRI) Prof Dr Rao Zahid Abbas emphasized that such initiatives bridge the gap between academia and industry by empowering students with practical exposure to real-world analytical tools. He urged youth to work hard to transform God-given abilities into useful skills by adapting and practicing modern technologies.
