KARACHI: On Thursday, at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS, and Indices was recorded at PKR 116.123 billion, with a total of 91,197 lots traded. Major business was contributed by Gold, amounting to PKR 82.857 billion, followed by Silver (PKR 16.055 billion), COTS (PKR 4.705 billion), Platinum (PKR 4.991 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.970 billion), SP500 (PKR 1.186 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 932.921 million), Japan Equity 225/USD (PKR 810.000 million), Palladium (PKR 763.294 million), Copper (PKR 302.600 million), DJ (PKR 183.396 million), Natural Gas (PKR 287.129 million), Brent (PKR 31.876 million), and Aluminium (PKR 5.284 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 10 lots amounting to PKR 49.118 million were traded, comprising Cotton (PKR 4.488 million), Corn (PKR 17.488 million), Wheat (PKR 6.965 million), and Soybean (PKR 14.177 million).
