KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS, and Indices was recorded at PKR 101.225 billion, with a total of 90,234 lots traded.
Major business was contributed by Gold, amounting to PKR 66.258 billion, followed by Silver (PKR 19.266 billion), COTS (PKR 3.776 billion), Platinum (PKR 4.984 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.078 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.502 billion), SP500 (PKR 809.245 million), Copper (PKR 904.356 million), DJ (PKR 272.691 million), Palladium (PKR 339.977 million), Natural Gas (PKR 259.591 million), Brent (PKR 34.323 million), Aluminium (PKR 15.176 million), and Japan Equity 225 (PKR 13.088 million).
In Agricultural commodities, 8 lots amounting to PKR 80.773 million were traded, comprising Cotton (PKR 9.922 million), Wheat (PKR 14.030 million), and Soybean (PKR 56.821 million). Corn recorded no trading activity for the day.
