KARACHI: Pakistan’s gaming industry, expected to surpass $1 billion in revenue this year, took the spotlight at Payoneer’s Game Leaders Connect 2025.

The exclusive gathering brought together 75 founders and executives from prominent local studios, including InvoZone, Euphoria XR, and Fishry/Bramerz, to explore opportunities for scaling Pakistani gaming and app exports to international markets.

The event featured sessions addressing key challenges facing the sector, such as overcoming cross-border payment hurdles, developing export-ready teams, and capitalizing on the country’s estimated 45 million-strong gaming community. Industry experts also discussed strategies for global monetization, brand positioning, and achieving sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive international market.

Speaking at the event, Nagesh Devata, SVP Asia-Pacific at Payoneer, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to Pakistan’s digital economy. “Pakistan is a priority market for Payoneer. We are a trusted partner for leading game developers, tech companies, and service exporters in the country, providing business-grade solutions for cross-border trade. With the industry projected to exceed $1 billion in 2025 and $158 million in gaming exports, Payoneer remains dedicated to supporting this ecosystem,” he said.

Payoneer also showcased its suite of fintech tools designed to enable seamless international transactions and multi-currency billing, aiming to strengthen the position of Pakistani developers in global markets.

With gaming exports currently valued at $158 million and climbing, stakeholders at the event emphasized the sector’s growing contribution to Pakistan’s digital economy and its potential as a significant driver of future export growth.
