KARACHI: The Karachi Port Trust handled 158,153 tonnes of cargo comprising 131,339 tonnes of import cargo and 26,814 tonnes of export cargo during last 24 hours, ending at 0700 hours.
The total import cargo of 131,339 comprised of 65,315 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 2,427 tonnes of Bulk Cargo, 7,030 tonnes of Dap, 804 tonnes of Soya Bean Seeds & 55,763 tonnes of Liquid Cargo.
The total export cargo of 26,814 comprised of 24,717 tonnes of Containerized Cargo, 405 tonnes of Bulk Cargo, 856 tonnes of Clinkers & 836 tonnes of Rice.
Approximately, Sc Desree, Baryon, Wadi Feran, Arinaga, Hyundai Saturn, Hemma Bhum, & Wan Hal 316, berthed at the Karachi Port Trust.
