US President-Pakistan Field Marshal meeting adds to India’s humiliation
US President Donald Trump hosting Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir over lunch has spooked the Indian government and its Godi media alike. The language that they have been using against Pakistan now clearly indicates deep humiliation that India has suffered in recent times.
The language is full of hate, anger and insults. In other words, the talk shows on Godi media are full of vituperation. That profanity is simply an evidence of a vulgar mind is a fact.
The viewers of Godi media seem to have grown accustomed to having their ears assailed by mindless cursing. Last but not least, the Trump-Field Marshal meeting in the US capital has only added to India’s humiliation. These moments of national humiliation, in my view, can stick in the memory of Indians and their imagination.
