Jordan gets 6 participants in 120,000 tons wheat tender

HAMBURG: Six trading companies are believed to be taking part so far in the international tender on Tuesday from Jordan’s state grains buyer to purchase 120,000 metric tons of wheat, traders said in initial assessments.

Trading houses participating were believed to be CHS,Cargill, Al Dahra, Ameropa, Buildcom and Agrocorp.

No purchase has yet been reported and results are expected later on Tuesday, they said. Shipment in the tender is sought in a series of possible combinations of consignments of 50,000 to 60,000 tons between September 1-15, September 16-30, October 1-15 and October 16-31.
