FAISALABAD: Under the directives of Director General Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Muhammad Asif Chaudhry, a comprehensive operation against illegal housing schemes, encroachments, and unauthorized constructions remains in full swing.
Over the last month, FDA teams conducted a total of 45 operations and demolished structures of seven illegal housing schemes, sealed 28 plots for unauthori]sed constructions, and clearing permanent encroachments in 10 different areas.
According to details, FDA’s enforcement and anti-encroachment teams, supervised by Director Town Planning Asma Mohsin and Director Estate Management Junaid Hassan Manj, have been actively engaged in the field to ensure compliance with the law.
During the month of May, efforts to establish seven illegal housing schemes on Satiana Road, Jaranwala Road, and Sargodha Road were thwarted, their on-site offices were sealed, and their sewerage systems, boundary walls, roads, and other structures were demolished.
In the same period, platforms, ramps, and other constructions exceeding approved limits in Madina Town, Gulberg Colony, Gulfishan Colony, Gulistan Colony, Nazimabad, Satiana Road, Dijkot Road, Usmanabad, Sunehri Town, and other residential colonies and commercial markets under FDA’s control were demolished using heavy machinery.
