KARACHI Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has said that the Sindh government is serious about solving the problems faced by the marble industry.
He addresses a meeting of All Pakistan Marble Industries Association, he said that the marble industry is one of the important industries of Pakistan. Pakistan has the best marble reservoirs in the world.
He said that people associated with the marble industry should play their effective role in eliminating environmental pollution.
Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that the law and order situation in the industrial zones of the province was much better than in the past. Steps were also being taken to remove encroachments in the industrial zones.
He said that the government of Sindh stands with the business community and industrialists at all levels. Pakistan People's Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has directed that every possible step should be taken for industrial development in the province.
On this occasion, Chairman of the Association Muhammad Bilal and other office bearers of the association said that more than 450 marble industries were active in Manghopir Industrial Zone.
