KARACHI: United Business Group (UBG) has welcomed the federal cabinet's historic visa policy reforms, terming it a significant development for tourism, investment, and trade.

UBG President Zubair Tufail, Chairman(Sindh Region) Khalid Tawab, group members Hanif Gohar, Mazhar A. Nasir and Momin Ali Malik have wholeheartedly praised the federal cabinet's decision to introduce revolutionary visa policy reforms, allowing tourists and businesspeople from 126 countries to obtain arrival visas at Pakistani airports within 24 hours without any visa fee. The UBG leaders have also called this move a "game-changer" for Pakistan's economy.

UBG President Zubair Tufail said that this government initiative would boost national tourism, foreign investment, and trade activities across various sectors, making Pakistan an attractive destination for international businesses and tourists.

Khalid Tawab appreciated the efforts to create a business-friendly environment, stating that such efforts would lead to economic growth, job creation, and increased revenue.

Mazhar Ali Nasir also praised the special arrangements for Sikh pilgrims holding passports of third countries, which would allow them to obtain visas on arrival, thereby promoting religious tourism and cultural exchange. This move demonstrates the government's commitment to inclusivity and diversity.

Hanif Gohar stated that these historic visa policy reforms reflect the government's vision for a progressive and prosperous Pakistan.

Momin Ali Malik confident that this initiative will unlock new opportunities for businesses, tourists, and investors, further solidifying Pakistan's position as a hub for regional activities.
