ATC issues notices on IK bail pleas

LAHORE: An Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday issued notices to the prosecution and the police for August 06 on the bail petitions of former PTI chairman Imran Khan in twelve cases of May 9 riots.

The petitions have been filed after the Lahore High Court (LHC) quashed the physical remand of the former premier in the cases including an attack on the Corps Commander House.

Associates of the led counsel of Imran Khan requested the court to issue notices to the respondents on the petitions and added the led counsel would personally appear on next hearing to advance arguments.
