New dimension added to Sino-Pak ties: Naqvi

LAHORE: Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi said on Monday that a new dimension had been added to Sino-Pak relations courtesy to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Talking to Chinese Consul General Zhao Shiren, who called on him here, Naqvi said that every Pakistani was proud of relations between the two countries because China had always stood by Pakistan. “Both the countries have similar views on global issues,” he said.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, Pak-China relations, the CPEC projects and the security of Chinese citizens living in Pakistan came under discussion.
