KARACHI: Gold prices on Saturday saw a sizeable fall on the local market with silver losing some ground, traders said.

The precious metal lost Rs1400 to Rs240300 per tola and Rs1200 to Rs206019 per 10 grams.

On the world market, gold was traded for $2326 per ounce, down by $16 and silver was available for $31 per ounce, traders said.

The local market was offering silver for Rs2820 per tola and Rs2417.70 per 10 grams, down by Rs80 and Rs69, respectively.
