Ugandan shilling flat, may weaken on inter bank demand

KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling was flat on Monday, but some appetite for hard currency from inter bank players was expected to give the local unit a depreciation bias, traders said.

Ugandan shilling weakens due to energy and manufacturing sector FX demand

At 0913 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,900/3,910, same level as Friday’s close.
