KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling traded slightly weaker on Monday, as an uptick in demand for dollars from merchandise importers fuelled pressure on the local unit, traders said.
Ugandan shilling stable, draws support from coffee export inflows
At 0905 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,800/3,810 to the dollar compared to Friday’s close of 3,795/3,805.
