KARACHI: Gold on Friday lost some value on the local market but silver remained firm, traders said.

Gold prices inched down by Rs300 to Rs218600 per tola and Rs257 to Rs187414 per 10 grams.

Silver was available for Rs2600 per tola and Rs2229.08 per 10 grams. International silver price was quoted as $23.88 per ounce.
